Merge multiple sources of the same video
There's nice feature to link one video to multiple sources, so
the subtitles can be shared. However, it seems there's no way to
link together sources already present on Universal Subtitles.
For example, there's
original video with subtitles already created and
duplicated video without subtitles (made by my mistake). If I
want to add URL of the duplicated video to the original, I get:
"This URL already exists as its own video in our system."
In this simple case (there are subtitles only for one source), I think the system may allow us to merge URLs together. Or there could be some way to flag videos for merging, so administrators can take care of that.

Hi Jan,
Thank you for using Universal Subtitles, as well as for bringing the merging issue to our attention.
In this case, I have resolved the duplication by deleting the second video and adding its URL to the subtitled video. We have development of a procedure for merging on our to-do list, but at this time I cannot yet say when it will be implemented.
Happy subtitling!
