Is there a way to disable editing on the subtitles?
I want to use Universal Subtitles but don't have the time to monitor if people start editing the subtitles once published.
Can I protect the subtitles so no one but myself or people I've given permission to would be able to edit?

    Hi Mayu,

    Thank you for using UniversalSubtitles!

At present, there is no such option, but in the future it will be possible to make videos private (hidden from those who do not have a link to the video or are not else authorized to view it). This is planned as a premium feature, available to holders of paid accounts.

For the time being, I would strongly recommend creating a backup of "good" subtitles by downloading them to your computer. Then you will always be able to restore them even in worst case scenario after unwanted or malevolent edits.
