How does US decide which language it should show as default after embedding the video? Is it possible to change this paramenter?, And, most importantly, can I embed the video in a way NO subtitles are shown by default, and just let the user select whether he wants to have the subtitles on the way or not?

    Hi Sintaxi,

Thanks for using UniversalSubtitles and sorry for the delay with replying.

Yes, while embedding a video you can define which language will be displayed by default. You should copy the embed script from the page with the desired language (or check "Choosing a default language" section on https://github.com/pculture/unisubs/wiki/Embed-Code-Usage-Guide).

Unfortunately, there is currently no option to turn subtitles off by default. I have made a change request to implement such feature in the future releases.
