vimeo subtitles do not appear in full screen view

First time user of universal subtitles, and very happy about it. However...

I subtitled a vimeo video and embedded it with the javascript code provided. I can watch it fine, but when I click on the full screen button, the subtitles disappear. Am I doing something wrong or is there a way around this?

Also, is there a way to customize the size of the video, by changing the javascript or placing it within an iframe? And the style -in particular the background - of the subtitles?

Thanks in advance,

Alvaro

    Hi Alvaro,

    Thank you for using UniversalSubtitles. We are glad you've had enjoyable experience with our software and appreciate your feedback.

    You were absolutely right in observing that subtitles are not displayed in full-screen mode. We intend to fix this problem - please stay tuned for software updates.

    In the meantime, you can get a workaround by changing the size of embedded video - just modify your script as follows to specify the width and height of the video:

    http://vimeo.com/ZZZZZZZZ

    where XXX and YYY are the width and height in pixels, respectively. ZZZZZZZZ is the ID of your video at Vimeo.com.

    As to style and formatting of the subtitles, I'm afraid those are not customizable at this time.

    Happy subtitling!

    Hi Alvaro,

    Just noticed that markdown in the helpdesk system "swallowed" the most important part of my previous message - sorry for that! Posting it again:

    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://s3.www.universalsubtitles.org/embed.js">
    (
    {"video_url": "http://vimeo.com/ZZZZZZZZ",
    video_config: {width:XXX, height: YYY}
    }
    )
    </script>

    This is what the embed script should look like. Again, sorry for the glitch!

    Best regards,
